Year 1 had a brilliant trip on Monday to Harlow Carr. They enjoyed taking part in a workshop learning about the trees in our country. They had to work in a group to identify different trees and take a bark rubbing. They found out that they could work out the age of a tree by measuring the width of a tree and solving a calculation. They also enjoyed bug hunting and identifying what they found. Finally we had some time to play in a play park and enjoy the beautiful plants and wildlife.
