The School Day
School opens at 8.40am and finishes at 3.20pm, with slight variations for younger children. For those using it, wrap around care opens at 7.30am and closes at 6pm. More detailed information around timings can be found below:
Drop off
Year 1 – Year 6 may enter the classrooms at 8.40am.
Reception children begin at 8.45am.
Drop off location
Children in Year 2, Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 will enter school to the left of the school building, via the ramp that starts by the main office and goes up alongside the main staff car park to the top playground.
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 enter to the right of the school building, through the gate on The Green.
Pick Up
Year 1 – Year 6 finish school and can be collected at 3.20pm.
Reception children finish school and can be collected at 3.15pm.
Location
Reception
Children should be collected from inside the Reception playground (the classes will be with their teacher underneath the canopy). Access is via the front playground to the right side of school, across the bottom playground and through the side gate by the Reception/Year 1 building.
Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5
Children should be collected from the top playground which is accessed via the ramp to the left of the school building. If collecting younger children first, this playground can also be accessed from the Reception collection point.
Year 2
Children should be collected from the L-shaped playground at the back of school, which is behind the Reception playground. This can be accessed either to the left of school (up main ramp to the top playground and then down the small ramp) or to the right of school (through gate to front playground and side gate by Reception/Year 1 building)
Year 1 and Year 6
Children should be collected from the front playground.
Children in Year 5 and Year 6 may walk home with written parental permission.
