St Oswald’s is a warm and welcoming school where children feel happy, safe and well supported. We have high expectations of every child and so the school has a calm yet busy and purposeful atmosphere with a high standard of behaviour. We understand the importance of our partnership with parents to enable the children to fulfil their potential and we operate an open-door policy where parents feel welcome to visit the school at any time.

The school offers an excellent learning environment with facilities that include a well-maintained building and extensive school grounds including an outdoor learning area, three playgrounds and a large sports field. We always strive to deliver inspiring and innovative teaching to the highest standards, utilising a rich range of resources including IT to enable the children to engage most effectively with their learning. We offer wrap around care with Before and After school provision at a small cost for those families that require this service.
