Ozzie’s Out of School Hours Care

Our out of school hours provision, Ozzie’s, provides a safe and fun environment for children at our school whose families need wraparound care.  A wide range of activities are available each day, including crafts, games and outdoor play, and provides a chance for children to spend time with their friends.

We care for children from Nursery to Year 6.

Ozzie’s runs from 7.30am until the start of school and after school until 6.00pm. We also offer holiday provision throughout most school holidays and on training days.

Ozzie’s is open to all parents, subject to available spaces. To book a place, you will need a Kids Club HQ account and then you can request the sessions you need. Please email Ozzie’s for a link to set up a Kids Club HQ account.

Payment Information

You will receive confirmation of charges when you book your session through Kids Club HQ.  You will also receive a monthly invoice. Payment can be made online via ParentPay or alternatively by using Childcare Vouchers or Tax Free Childcare (TFC).  As sessions are payable in advance, please ensure you keep your Kids Club HQ account in credit. We will credit your Kids Club HQ account with Childcare Voucher payments once we receive a remittance advice.

For TFC, you need to send us a screenshot of your payment as a remittance to ensure we can allocate your payment to your account. If you pay with vouchers or TFC you may prefer to pay monthly in advance.  If you need any information on your estimated monthly amount, please let us know.

Any payments made to ParentPay will be credited to your Kids HQ account. You will still be able to view your ParentPay account to see the details of payments made and payments transferred to Kids Club HQ charges and payments made by selecting “transaction history” from the menu and then “balance history”.  You then need to choose the Ozzie’s payment item and select the date range you want to see.

Terms and Conditions

Fees and payment

  • Fees, as set out in a separate document, are payable in advance.
  • For payments via ParentPay, payments can be made at any time but in order for your child to use our out of school care provision, your account must be in credit.
  • If you do not already have a ParentPay account, you will be issued with ParentPay login details on the first day of term.
  • Payments by Childcare voucher or Tax Free Childcare will be accepted. In this case, payment is required monthly in advance. In the event of any issues with setting up childcare voucher payments which are outside of the school’s control, payment via ParentPay will be required, which will then be refunded once payment by Childcare voucher is made.
  • In the event of late payment, Parents/Carers will be contacted and school reserve the right to refuse access to the out of school care provision if fees are not paid or payment is repeatedly late.
  • Fees will be reviewed annually, with any increase applicable from 1 September each year.

Changes to sessions

  • Sessions booked carry forward until the end of the school year, unless notice is given to change.
  • 4 week’s notice is required for any changes to regular booked sessions or to cancel your child’s place.
  • Regular booked sessions not used for any reason, including illness, are charged in full.
  • Where a child is collected early, the full charge for a session as booked will be due.
  • Sessions cannot be swapped but additional sessions can be booked, subject to space.

Ad hoc sessions

  • Subject to space, ad hoc sessions will be permitted.
  • In the event of repeated booking of ad hoc sessions for the same day, Parents/Carers will be required to book this as a regular session.

Mornings sessions

  • Arrival is strictly from 7.30am onwards.
  • Where breakfast is required, arrival must be before 8.15am at the latest.

Late Collection

  • Collection is strictly by 6.00pm.
  • In the event of late collection, this will be charged at a £1 per minute after 6.00pm.
  • In the event of repeated late collection, Parents/Carers will be contacted and school reserve the right to refuse access to our out of school provision.
