Year three had a fantastic day at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Both classes took part in an explore, walk, talk, and make workshop where we learnt about different artists and got the opportunity to sketch and make our own clay sculptures. We also had a great time walking around the park and seeing lots of incredible sculptures. The trip has really brought to life our previous art topic and inspired lots of children to make their own sculptures at home. It was a fantastic day, the children were enthusiastic, polite and were a credit to the school.
