Year 6 Superstars

A huge well done to our Year 6 superstars! They have worked extremely hard this week and we are so proud of them all!

Ancient Greek Vases

Year 6 have created fantastic Ancient Greek style vases. So much hard work has gone into moulding, shaping and painting - we are so impressed with their final pieces!

Measuring Angles

Oak class enjoyed writing on the tables to practice identifying and measuring angles!

Clay Faces

Beech class loved making clay faces. Which one is your favourite?

Learning About Speech

Year 3 enjoyed learning about speech today and using pasta as inverted commas

St George's day

The reception children enjoyed learning about St George's day last week. We learnt about who St George is and when and why it is celebrated. After the lesson, the children created their own St George's crosses and followed step by step instructions to draw dragons!

Moortown Firefighters Visit

Huge thanks to the firefighters from Moortown Fire Station for taking the time to come and speak to our reception children. They absolutely loved it and are feeling very inspired!

The Birdman

We've had a very exciting visit from the Birdman - Alan Ames. It was amazing to see the birds flying around in the school hall.

British Values Week

We have been learning all about British Values this week. Today, Y5 and Y6 had a visit from our local MP Stuart Andrew. He spoke to the children about his job and they had the opportunity to ask him questions.
