School Uniform
We have a smart school uniform, encouraging the children to take pride in themselves and to feel a sense of belonging in school.
We also try to ensure our uniform does not place an unreasonable financial burden on families and so the majority of items are available at low cost from supermarkets and other retailers. The only school specific items are the school jumper/cardigan and the school tie which can be purchased at PC Sports in Yeadon.

Our Uniform
-
- Mid-grey trousers or skirt
- White shirt. This should be button up in Key Stage 2 when the tie is required. A polo shirt version is suitable in Key Stage 1 if preferred.
- School jumper or cardigan (is being altered for affordability for 26/27)
- School tie in Key Stage 2. This is optional in Key Stage 1.
- Black school shoes (In poor weather children may wear boots to get to school but should change into their shoes on arrival)
- Summer alternatives – Red and white summer dress or grey shorts
PE kit
Children should wear PE kit to school on their PE days. This should comprise of:
-
- White T-shirt
- Navy shorts (cycling shorts are acceptable but must be mid-thigh in length)
- Trainers for outside
- Socks
- Navy hoodie (optional school version is available at PC Sports)
- Navy tracksuit bottoms or leggings for colder weather
Additional information
-
- Hair – All children with hair of shoulder length or longer must have it tied back for school.
- Jewellery – No jewellery is allowed in school. The exception to this is that children with pierced ears may wear simple stud earrings if they are able to remove and replace these without assistance for PE.
- Make up – Children are not allowed to wear make up to school.
- Nails – Nails should be of a suitable length for school and not decorated.
Footwear
In cold weather some children prefer to wear boots on their way to school. If your children are travelling in boots, they do need to have an appropriate pair of school shoes with them or at school to change into when they arrive. Please also note that trainers are not acceptable school shoes.
