SUMMARY:Walking Nativity
DESCRIPTION:This year we are planning a slightly different Nativity experience for parents and carers to enjoy. We are going to\nhold a walking nativity\, for children from year 1-6\, on Thursday 8″ December. A walking Nativity involves\nvisitors taking a route around the school grounds\, seeing different scenes from the Christmas Story and listening to\nsongs as they pass. It allows us to involve every class in our performance. Reception have their own Nativity\nhappening on a different date but will have the opportunity to share in the walking nativity also. \nPerformances will alternate between the classes so please check when your child is scheduled to perform.\nThe route and timings will be as follows: \nYear 3 will kick start the nativity and will be positioned on the KS1 playground as you enter the gates and walk toward the main hall. \nYear 2 will be positioned around the back of school\, next to the reception playground. \nYear 1 will be a little further along\, on the KS2 playground\, where the year 4 children leave school. \nYear 5 will be positioned outside the school grounds on the way up to St Oswald’s church. \nYear 4 will be positioned on the church grounds \nYear 6 will be the final part of our walking nativity and based inside the church. \n9.20-10.00am\nElm\, Holly\, Aspen\, Lime\, Beech\, Oak \n10.00-10.40am\nAsh\, Rowan\, Hawthorn\, Cedar\, Willow\, Sycamore \nRefreshments will be available in church throughout the performance\, for you to enjoy once you have visited the final scene. \nThank you for your support and we hope you enjoy the event. \nJill Broadwell\nRE and Collective Worship Lead
